~ planner love & urban sketching

for a little while now i have been contemplating what to do about journal keeping since I haven't been keeping up with a journal very well ~ { i guess the blog has kind of become the journal, but it isn't a tangible one you can hold & read & come to love & appreciate in that tactile way}

 i also have some organizational tasks etc to keep track of.. .

i kept ending up back at The Planner Sophisticate's youtube channel, still convinced that planning wasn't for me, 

& yet there i was again, immersed in planning videos.. .

I've now finally concluded planning might be exactly what i need, somewhere to store daily to-dos, to jot down little pieces of our day & our lives, with a little bit of space for larger entries, & even if i don't journal much in there, 

the planner is in itself a memory keeper of things we did, tasks we had etc.. .

& i can make it pretty with planner stickers which is adding a bit of creativity as well! 

{i also want to make little photo stickers & put in letters or use bits of old wrapping paper or scrapbook paper to make the weekly spreads! maybe even a bit of painting on weeks when i have more time, thats one thing i like about getting pre made stickers though, it cuts down on the workload for me, but its a little bit creative on days where I'm busy/tired!

needless to say, I'm pretty happy about this decision!

& then we have the sketchbook/art situation.. .

so much to do, so little time! 

i finally finished an urban sketching video I've been trying to make for a while, its a sketch of the amazing Waddesdon Manor {i did take a bit of creative license!}

& hopefully there are some other exciting projects coming your way soon!
