the overlapping of the movement of water with the geometric patterns of the pier {& the water itself producing concentric ripples of a geometric nature}

the hardness of stone softening with age, & the weathered wood sturdy still

skies & leaves of peach & crimson 

& a tired little dog {far too much frolicking!}

p.s this week we have been visited by a grasshopper, a praying mantis, a blue crane,  a rosy maple moth, & so very many eagles so very close to the house!}
