~ Our 6ft Paper Tree

At about, oh 3am, {& after total exhaustion from a)last minute Christmas preparations & b)a Christmas Eve soiree involving a late night screening of the Hobbit ~ love that Bard! :) }.. . Mum had the "you beaut" idea to make a giant paper tree with all the gorgeous flocked, foiled & otherwise verdant gold papers we had acquired on a prior trip to PaperSource, & hang it from a wall{to compliment our petite one}

Being the dear & obliging daughter that i am :) {knowing how to wrangle paper & scissors couldn't hurt :) } i began this mammoth task with only hours before sunrise...

& really, the photos can't do it justice, it was loverly!!! very special...i'd love to try again next year with a little more time to spare <3
